COG Bay Area Meeting Rebrands as COG: Small and Mid Biopharma Summit

New name reflects renewed focus on serving the Bay Area's small and mid-sized biopharma community.

We have announced that our well-known Bay Area meeting will return this fall under a new name and sharpened focus: the COG Small and Mid Biopharma Summit. The event will take place November 18–19 at the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame, California.

The rebrand reflects a renewed commitment to serving the region's thriving small and mid-sized (SMID) biopharma ecosystem. Content will be curated specifically for SMID sponsors, positioning the Summit as a distinctive offering for the Bay Area: a conference built by small and mid-sized companies, for small and mid-sized companies.

While the name is new, the elements that have made the event a long-time favourite remain unchanged. The Summit will continue to draw the same senior-level audience cohort, maintain its commitment to a 2:1 (or better) audience-to-sponsor ratio, and offer an engaged group of attendees genuinely interested in meaningful conversations - without the vendor fatigue often associated with larger competing conferences.
