Pharmaceutical Business Conference Group Partners with Greater Gift to Expand Vaccine Donation Programme
London, United Kingdom – 23rd August 2023 – Pharmaceutical Business Conference Group, a specialist events organiser dedicated to creating meaningful clinical trial conferences in the pharmaceutical and biotech space, today announced a new strategic partnership with Greater Gift, a leading non-profit with the mission to increase awareness of clinical research as a care option, and celebrate clinical trials for all involved.
Through this partnership, Greater Gift will work closely with Pharmaceutical Business Conference Group (PBCG) to implement charitable giving programs at PBCG’s Clinical Outsourcing Group meetings. This will provide a new avenue for pharmaceutical and biotech companies and executives to give back via PBCG's event portfolio.
"We are thrilled to partner with Pharmaceutical Business Conference Group to further our mission and simplify the process for corporations and individuals to contribute to pay forward the gift of health," said Joan Chambers, CEO of Greater Gift. "PBCG events attract top leaders in the pharmaceutical space, establishing their conferences as an ideal platform for increasing charitable contributions from this community."
PBCG conference speakers will each be issued a unique referral code for friends and colleagues to attend the meetings. For those who register via a speaker’s referral code, PBCG will donate a vaccine to a child in need through Greater Gift’s collaboration with GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance. Post-event, Greater Gift will issue certificates of celebration to each speaker detailing the number of vaccines donated.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Greater Gift to help accelerate their mission to make a meaningful impact in the world of clinical research," said Paul Adams, Managing Director of PBCG. "Through our partnership we hope to support the program in collaboration with GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, to provide vaccines to children in need around the world, as well as join Joan and the team to celebrate clinical trials and their participants."
The new charitable referral programme will debut at PBCG's Clinical Outsourcing Group Europe meeting on 10th & 11th October 2023. Further info: COG Europe
